About Us

Welcome to the RepairPC lab. My name is Vadim. I have been repairing computers since 2006 and specialise in component level repair of laptops and Apple computers.

Component level repair

The work is done at component level: microsoldering, SMT and BGA component replacement, restoration of traces and connections after liquid damage and corrosion.

I take on difficult jobs, including recovery after serious damage, repair of MacBook flex cables and displays where the panel itself is not cracked. I take a repair on when it genuinely makes sense to do it.

Quality I stand behind

I work thoroughly and try to complete a repair as quickly as possible. Every fault and every computer needs its own approach, and quality always comes first here.

The RepairPC lab is equipped with professional tools for component level repair: a microscope, an ultrasonic bath, soldering and measuring equipment, a BGA station, programmers and other specialised gear.

What I repair

The bulk of the work is MacBook repair and other Apple computers of every generation, on Intel processors and on Apple Silicon alike.

I also repair computers and laptops from other makers: HP, Lenovo, Acer, Dell, Asus and others.

The client always gets more

The client always gets more than was agreed. If small things turn up during the work that can be put right along the way without extra time, I do them at no additional charge.

Every computer, whatever the repair was and whatever the client asked for, is cleaned inside and out.

If I spot a serious problem coming, I always say so. The cost of any additional work is agreed separately. No work and no charges without your approval.

How a repair works at the RepairPC lab

Bring the computer in — diagnostics are free and carry no obligation.

After the diagnostics we discuss the price and you decide whether to go ahead. A repair is usually ready the same or the next business day, if the parts needed are in stock. Timing is agreed in advance.

The work comes with a warranty of at least 3 months, sometimes longer, depending on what exactly was repaired.

There are no house calls and no remote repair: component level repair needs equipment that stays in the lab.

Answers to common questions are on the FAQ page, and useful reading is in the Blog section.
